Contract managers and project managers work cohesively in implementing practices that foster continuous communication, ongoing inspection of materials and labor processes, as well as review of managing documents.

'Safety Steps" - Safety leads to each step

 

"Safety Steps" is a safety Program developed to promote accountability among employees, and it is designed to:

  • As one body, remain aware of each individual's responsibility to identify and eliminate unsafe practices and conditions in the workplace;
  • Build a safety team mentality such that all workers contribute to the effort, and all supervisors are fully aware of their team’s capabilities and limitations
  • Hold shareholders, employees, sub-contractors, suppliers accountable f0r violations on health, safety and environmental policies; and
  • Reward a culture in which everyone accepts responsibility and accountability for his or her own safety and health as well as the safety and health of coworkers.

We are active in the dissemination of information available through resources and tools provided by OSHA, the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the State of Oklahoma.  Staying abreast of regulatory expectations set forth by our States, and Government, allows us to remaining adverse in the topics of safety and labor rule of law.  Our Safety Step program is promoted through bulletins, internal training, and outsourced resources.

Substance Abuse Program covers pre-employment, post accident, random and for cause situations. New hires receive an orientation before going to work and ongoing training on a periodic basis. Our desire is to maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all affected persons. Integrity Program

The Integrity Program is a system that promotes compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations; develops individual and team character and virtue in the workplace, and creates and maintains a culture of integrity regardless of where our projects take us. The Integrity Program is lead by Integrity Officers and assistant Integrity Leads and implemented by all managers within our organization.

We require the highest ethical standards of our subcontractors, suppliers, our partners, and ourselves. We are only as good as our last job, and reputation is something GWI takes serious.

Our Policies of Ethics and Business Conduct provide guidance to all staff working at GWI and assist us in carrying out our daily activities with appropriate legal and ethical standards. These obligations apply to our relationships with clients, affiliates, third-party, subcontractors, vendors, consultants and partners.
